Complete Guide to Woods Hole Restaurants

Spring has sprung here in Woods Hole, and almost all of our restaurants are now open for business! Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two or a picnic lunch for the family, there’s something for everyone in the village.

The Captain Kidd

The Captain Kidd is located on Water Street and offers lunch and dinner with a beautiful view of Eel Pond. Dine on a variety of delicious seafood and American cuisine inside the nautically inspired dining room or outside on the deck. Visit the Captain Kidd’s website to view menus or make a reservation.

Coffee Obsession

Coffee-Obsession or “Coffee-O” as it’s known to locals is a fabulous place to grab coffee, pastries and breakfast or lunch. Located on the corner of Water Street and Luscombe Avenue (right across from Soft as a Grape), this local institution is perfect for enjoying your morning cup of Joe in the cafe or taking it to go!

Jimmy’s Classic Eats

If you find yourself in need of a quick breakfast or lunch before the ferry, Jimmy’s Classic Eats is where you need to go. They make delicious craft donuts and offer a variety of sandwiches and burgers for lunch. It’s a great place for families to grab lunch or a treat after a bike ride on the Shining Sea Bikeway.

Landfall Restaurant

You can’t beat the beautiful waterfront view at the Landfall Restaurant, a Woods Hole fixture since 1946, it’s a great place to stop in for a cocktail and appetizer or a classic seafood dinner. It gets very busy in the summer, so we suggest making a reservation for dinner to avoid a long wait!

Pie in the Sky

Pie in the Sky is always a popular spot for summer mornings in Woods Hole. Coffee beans are roasted on the premises and enjoyed by many! They are known, of course, for their pie but also their delectable pastries. Sandwiches and salads are also available to grab with your afternoon coffee.

Quicks Hole Tavern

Quicks Hole Tavern also has a waterview, looking out over the Steamship Authority dock. Its farm to table menu offers everything from charcuterie to special salads to Korean bouillabaisse and fresh donut holes for dessert! The dining room is on the smaller side, so get there early or better yet– make a reservation!

Quicks Hole Taqueria

Offering Baja fresh Mexican food, Quicks Hole Taqueria underwent a makeover in the off-season and now offers a vibrant and colorful brand to go with the delicious food! Don’t miss the crispy cod tacos or burritos and check out the new menu/newspaper to discover fun happenings in Woods Hole to check out during your visit!

Shuckers

Shuckers overlooks beautiful Eel Pond, and it’s a great place to grab an after-beach cocktail, lunch or dinner. Known for their raw bar and lobsters, belly up to the bar and enjoy the sunset over the water.

Water Street Kitchen

If you’re a foodie, Water Street Kitchen is the place to go for dinner with a waterview. Make sure you enjoy one of Water Street Kitchen’s amazing craft cocktails with your meal. This restaurant is a popular place, so we highly recommend making a reservation or getting there early. They are only open for dinner.

Woods Hole Market

If you’re looking for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner to go (or enjoy on their back deck overlooking Eel Pond), head over to Woods Hole Market. They make delicious breakfast and deli sandwiches and pizza is almost always available too!

Woods Hole Wharf

Woods Hole Wharf is the newest dining establishment to open on Water Street, and it features a family-friendly atmosphere and menu including brick oven pizza. Enjoy your meal on their deck overlooking Eel Pond and Woods Hole’s drawbridge– kids love to watch it go up and down during summer months!
