Vineyard Haven

Vineyard Haven is the island’s main port of entry complete with a scenic harbor and popular shopping district.

 

Oak Bluffs

Oak Bluffs is also a popular port of entry. The most popular attractions in Oak Bluffs are the more than 300 whimsical, happily colored “gingerbread” cottages, and the oldest, continuously operated carousel in the country. Here, you’ll also find several public beaches and an arts district with shops, boutiques and galleries.

 

Edgartown

Edgartown occupies the southeastern corner of the island. Here you can stroll through streets of old whaling captain’s homes and grand churches.

 

Aquinnah

Aquinnah is at the westernmost tip of Martha’s Vineyard. It is home to the Historic Gay Head Lighthouse nestled among the brightly colored Gay Head Cliffs.

 

Chilmark

Chilmark is known for it’s rolling hills and dramatic coastlines. Visit the fishing village of Menemsha or simply enjoy the nature preserves.
